Holiša is my birthplace.
The castle of Holiša (a timber fort or a motte-and-bailey construction, probably) might have stood on the present site of the church, although no research confirms that. Logically, the top of the elevated ground would have provided the best vantage point for a defensive structure. The Ipeľ river flanks the village (making a bend half a mile from the church) and was no doubt an attractive landscape feature for castle builders and local settlers.
The surrounding area would make a fine farming country for the manor folk.
I may provide current photos of the site for anybody interested in the topic.
