Access

The best access to the castle is from the state road No. 75 (Dudince – Veľký Krtíš). From this road we will go on the secondary road direction to the village Cerovo. After about 3 km we will arrive to the bridge over Litava. We will park the car right behind it and we will return over the bridge and turn right up to the hill. It is a steep trail only for tourists. More comfortable but longer (about 2 km long) trail is on the dirt road to the left and by foot on the ridge of Pustý vrch to its 391 m high north summit.
